Lake Garda

With a surface area of more than 370 km², Lake Garda is the largest Italian lake. Situated at the foot of the Alps, it is divided between three different provinces: the provinces of Brescia in Lombardia, Verona in Veneto and Trento in Trentino Alto Adige.

The area is of exceptional interest, both in terms of the natural landscape and the historic heritage and monuments, offering visitors magnificent countryside, bounded to the north by the majestic Brenta Dolomites and to the south by the gentle slopes of the morainic hills.

The vegetation is typical of the Mediterranean, while the microclimate created by the lake, making winters particularly mild, is ideal for the cultivation of olives and vines, giving rise to high quality products.
